Things One Must Think About On Christmas

Dear friends of my prayers;

God wrote to us sixty-six letters called The Bible.
Peter, James, John and Paul wrote letters.
My mentors wrote me many letters.
I am teachable and I will write to you letters.
In a phone call we say things as we think.
In letter writing we think before we write.
This letter took me a week to think and write.
Baby boy Jesús is God’s love letter in the flesh.
“As a man thinks so is he”. I am this letter.
It is my way of expending a little time together.
Life is time; how you spend your time is how you spend your life. Spend a little of your life with me. Get use to it, for we will be together forever.

Things one must think about on Christmas

Because of Love and to share His glory, God created man in his likeness and He created him male and female with the power to procreate and fill the earth and establish a kingdom for himself.

Creation takes place in the midst of cosmic warfare between God, the Lord and Satan, the rebellious angel. God the Victorious threw Satan and his followers out of Heaven and out of his blessed presence forever. (*)
As an enemy of God, Satan who hates God also hates everything that God loves. This feeble fallen creature’s hands are too short and his strength is too weak to confront God anymore. But Satan is powerful enough to kill the flesh by the persuasive power of temptation. His persuasive power has been proven by the successful tempting of a great number of angels to rise up against God. In this spiritual war, the next battlefield would be a beautiful garden name Eden. This Garden was the home of the most beautiful, perfect, healthy, wealthy, blessed young couple who ever lived on the face of the earth. Their names were Adam and Eve. This couple did not only have all but had the richest and sweetest personal fellowship with God himself.
Satan, who is able to do only evil, tempted Adam and Eve and persuaded them to disobey God’s will by doing that which God forbid them to do. Thus once again those whom God created reject Him.

And once again God separates himself from those whom he loved and brought into existence. Once again the fall came into creation and death with it. But “God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life”

God entered into time and space by entering into the world he created. God was in the person of baby boy Jesus, and he was rejected. Not that Jesús started to exist in Christmas. No, Jesús always existed. What happened on Christmas Eve is that Jesus became what he never was before: A man. God in the flesh. For our sake God became man.

Most people live with a partial understanding of Christmas and the rest of the vacuum is fulfilled with religious activities, Santa Claus, Christmas trees, bright lights, gifts, decorations and noble Ideas. Let us consider some thoughts:

God loved the angels and he was rejected; God loved Adam and Eve and he was rejected. God loved enter into the world and he was rejected again. The diamond of God’s love shines brightest on the black background of the carbon of Rejection. You have got to be rejected by those you love in order to have a fuller understanding of God and Christmas. You have to love in spite of rejection to understand God’s love for his children. You have to love because of rejection in order to know the meaning of love. You have to love against your senses to know how radically different is the love of God. You have to love against your emotions in order to discover the reliable love of God. For the love of God is not a matter of feelings but the display of his nature. God is Love. The love of God is an act of his will. It is a commitment. And because God changes not, we are not consumed in spite of our rejection of him.

Love should not depend on the senses (Erotic = Eros) this is for the Natural man.
Love should not depend on feelings (Emotional = Philos) this is of the Carnal man.
Love should be selfless and it’s of the Will (Will = Agape) this is of the Spiritual man. God is spirit. Erotic or sensual love is destined to die with age. This kind of love is purely biological or sexual. Filial or emotional love is as unreliable as a faulty bow. It fails you when you most need it. Feelings change with the weather, the sickness and any unpleasant circumstance. Agape love is willful love, is a stable love. It is spiritual and part of the nature of the lover.

The best of man’s being is his spirit because it is from God. This spirit cannot die because it is eternal. This spirit was introduced into the body of man by the breath of God in his nostrils. This spirit is destined to go back to God where it came from, just as the body goes back to the dust from where it was taken.

If the understanding of Christmas does not flow from the rejected baby boy of Bethlehem and the foot of the cross and the rejected blood of Jesús, this Christmas will be one more holiday and nothing else.

If we do not draw close enough to the cross of Jesús to hear his prayer: “Father forgive them for they know not what they do,” we remain without the benefit of the forgiveness that comes from believing by faith in the efficacy of this prayer. Baby boy Jesús came to die on the cross. Without the cross it is impossible to understand Christmas. The Cross is the wisdom of God. Along with the fallen angels, we have rejected God in the person of our fathers Adam and Eve. The whole world and we were in the Garden with Adam and Eve. We were in the testicles of Adam. At this time I appeal not to the Fifth Amendment as it is my right for the use of this last word but I appeal to the approved New Oxford American Dictionary of the English Language to make my point decently and politely correct.

testicle |ˈtestikəl|
noun
either of the two oval organs that produce sperm in men and other male mammals, enclosed in the scrotum behind the penis. Also called testis.
DERIVATIVES
testicular |teˈstikyələr| adjective
ORIGIN late Middle English : from Latin testiculus, diminutive of testis ‘a witness’ (i.e., to virility).

Along with everyone else we have rejected God the Father and God the Son who loved us.
Notice also that man in the presence of God does not cover his hands with which he took the fruit to eat. Man does not cover his mouth with which he took a bait of the fruit; neither does he cover his eyes through which temptation work it’s way to his heart. But man in the presence of God covers his genitals in shame due to the presence of the sins of the whole world in him who stands in the presence of a three times Holy God.

Sin causes utter shame and guilt and changes a man radically. Shouldn’t the opposite occur when a man is free from sin? Shouldn’t a holy boldness and a child like trust be the trademark of a newborn believer? Shouldn’t be ours the audacity and comfort when we enter the Holy of Holly’s? But this fearlessness should never be rooted in the power of our renunciation of sin, but on the basis of Grace and the work of atonement of our Lord Jesús in the cross on our behalf.

Jesus’s death rupture down the curtain of separation between the Holy of Hollies and us. Baby boy Jesús came to remove every leaf the covers our shame. Jesús came to remove the old garment made out of sheepskin in the garden and put on us his white clean garment of righteousness. Thus we are justified before God and accepted as if we have never sinned.
Therefore my beloved friends, if we do not surrender to the convicting work of the Holy Spirit in our hearts; we have also rejected God the Holy Spirit who loves us.

Today if you fail to recognize Jesús in a brother and do not walk with him in oneness; you have rejected a member of your own body who loves you as himself.

Woe unto us who reject the stones that God has chosen to build his house. Men rejected Jesús himself but God made him the capstone. Our God builds with that which the world rejects.

Beware with rejection active or passive. God will not have for innocent him who willingly does not examine his or her heart and seeks reconciliation in his heart with God and his fellow believers.

Like the wise men from the East we bow down in supreme wisdom when we kneel before baby boy Jesús and in his humility we recognize God.

Then we stand with the rejected Jesús and his cross, so help us God. Let rejection come if it must, but let him who rejects us know that our love and prayers are theirs in spite of and because of rejection. It is not Eros or Phileo but the love of God that constrains our will to love.

Let him who is innocent of rejection take these words only as thunder.
Let him who is guilty of rejection beware of the lightening of God wrath.

The peace of God that baby boy Jesús brought into the world is the property only of “those on whom his favor rests”(Those who by Grace are chosen to be saved). That is the way God wants it. And the angels chanted: “Glory to God in the highest”. May the peace of God rest in your heart and mind this Christmas. Better yet, may the God of peace himself in the person of his little boy Jesús be with you always.

Where is the wisdom in rejecting Him who SO loved you? What good can come from rejecting him who is your gift of God? Who is like Jesus the guardian of your soul in the land of the living? Do you know the friends that Jesús purchased as a gift for you to love and pray for you? If so, you are a rich man. The number of his friends counts the wealth of a man. Who is the hand of the body of Jesus of which you are wealth of a man. Who is the hand of the body of Jesus of which you are but a finger?

Dear Lord open my eyes to recognize him who has not reject you and to love him or her as my self. Baby boy Jesús, give me the innocence of your eyes to see all things pure. Cast away malice from my mind. May it be true of me your words “For the pure, all things are pure”. Lord let me live a grateful life for having recognized God in Jesús and having been able to see the life of Jesús in my fellow believer. This letter comes from another grain of salt like you that pretends to salt the whole Earth with the knowledge of Jesús as the Christ of God.

This letter comes to you to remind each other the glorious truth that he did not created us because he needed us but because he loved us. We are created by God and for God. We are created to be loved!

Hallelujah!

PS.(*) This note is for some inquiring minds that would like know more about the origin of angels. It was taken from the Internet, author unknown. Question: "When did God create the angels?"

Answer: Trying to determine when God created the angels is somewhat tricky because anything God did “before the foundation of the world” puts the event outside of time itself. Time and space are characteristics of our world, not God’s. He is not limited by hours, days and years as we are. In fact, the Bible tells us that “with the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day” (2 Peter 3:8).

We do know that God created the angels before he created the physical universe. The book of Job describes the angels worshipping God as He was creating the world: “Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation? Tell me, if you understand. Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone - while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy?” (Job 38:4-7).

If we consider the function of angels, we might conclude that God created the angels just prior to the creation of mankind because one of their duties is to be “ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation” (Hebrews 1:14). We also know they existed prior to the Garden of Eden, because Satan, who was formerly the angel Lucifer, was already present in the Garden in his fallen state. However, because another function of angels is to worship God around His throne (Revelation 5:11-14), they may have been in existence millions of years—as we reckon time—before God created the world, worshipping Him and serving Him.

So, although the Bible does not specifically say when God created the angels, it was sometime before the world was created. Whether this was a day before, or billions of years before—again, as we reckon time—we cannot be sure.
