October 5, 2006 - Prayer requests from the Gutierrez (Ruthie)

Dearest Friends,

I am slowly discovering the wonders of the computer and the fact that I can send messages to many at a time. Therefore,....these prayer requests.

1. Praise the Lord with us for His great kindness in touching our bodies and causing Gerry, Ben and me to feel "world's better" than we did during the months of May to Aug. What a relief!

2. Praise the Lord that Gerry's blood sugar, blood pressure and his weight have all come down drastically. Your prayers have been wonderfully effective. Thanks for praying for strength for him to observe such a strict diet.

3. Please pray for Judith, of whom we wrote in a recent prayer letter. It is strange that after that letter went out, Judy began to suffer daily headaches, lack of appetite and even depression. She, like us, feels personally the pain of watching the people in whom she has invested so much prayer, time, energy and passion...backsliding, leaving the church for good or rejecting her. That could be part of her health problems, and she may be dealing with a personal problem of her own. We ask you to please intercede for this dear girl.
